steel structures playing a role of bridge in transmitting
the electricity from power plant to substation and substation
supports are called 'Steel Tower for Transmission Line'. It
is mainly consisted of the steel components such as angle
and pipe.
Type of steel tower for transmission line is determined by
the transmission line's angle and the installation-shape of
the insulator. It is also classified as Suspension type and
Strain type.
Moreover, it can be classified according to the number of
transmission circuits.
Applications
Although steel tower is mostly used for High-Voltage Transmission
Line (66kv, 154kv, 345kv, 765kv), it is also used for Low-Voltage
Distribution Line (22kv, 33kv, 66kv).
